Here is the entire 2026 price list in one breath: the self-drive tour is per person — €50 for a solo adult, €40 per adult in a party of two or more, €20 per child — and the private chauffeur tours are per vehicle — €290 for two hours, €330 for three, up to three guests either way. Every booking is requested by email, with nothing charged online, and there are no seasonal surcharges: August costs what March costs.
Every rate buys the same foundation — a brand-new automatic Can-Am Maverick, an English-speaking guide, helmets, and viewpoint stops above the UNESCO-listed Old City — whether the machine is driven by you on the Srđ plateau or by your guide along the coast.
What does the self-drive tour cost?
The self-drive tour — 30 minutes of driving from the upper cable-car station, departures every half hour from 09:00 to 18:30, March to November — is priced per person in three tiers:
| Who | Price |
|---|---|
| 1 adult riding alone (own 2-seater) | €50 |
| 2 or more adults | €40 per adult |
| Children 5–11 (passengers only) | €20 each |
| Under 5 | not permitted |
| Ages 12 and up | count and pay as adults |
Worked example: two adults and a child of eight book together — €40 + €40 + €20 = €100 for the buggy, about €33 per person.
The logic: buggies seat up to four, every buggy needs one licensed adult driver (18+, licence carried on the day), and a departure takes at most five buggies — twenty people. Two adults therefore pay €80 for a machine between them, and a solo traveller pays €50 for a two-seater to themselves rather than €40 for half of someone else’s.
Larger self-drive groups scale the same way at €40 per adult and €20 per child — two adults with two kids total €120, four adults €160 — up to twenty people per departure; beyond that we stack departures — ask via the contact form.
How payment works
Booking works by request: send the form on the booking page with your tour, date and departure, and Paula replies by email — within the hour during working hours — to confirm availability and arrange payment with you directly. Nothing is charged online, and the rates on this page are exactly what you’ll pay. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before your tour: just tell us and the slot is released.
What do the private tours cost?
The private tours are chauffeured — your guide drives, hotel pickup included, up to three guests per vehicle — and priced per vehicle, so the per-head cost falls as the seats fill:
| Tour | Per vehicle |
|---|---|
| 2-Hour Private Chauffeur Tour | €290 |
| 3-Hour Private Tour (chauffeur + 30 min self-drive) | €330 |
Worked example: three friends split the 2-hour tour — €290 ÷ 3 ≈ €97 each; the 3-hour comes to €330 ÷ 3 = €110 each.
That €110 buys a private guide, hotel pickup, the coastal circuit through Gruž, Lapad and Babin Kuk, the summit panorama, and half an hour behind the wheel. Groups larger than three run as multiple vehicles and are quoted individually.
What’s included in every rate?
- The Can-Am Maverick itself — brand-new, automatic, serviced, fuelled
- Helmets for everyone aboard
- English-speaking guide for the entire tour
- Every viewpoint and photo stop, with the guide happy to shoot on your phone
- Self-drive tours: safety briefing and a supervised first stretch
- Private tours: hotel or apartment pickup; bottled water on the 3-hour tour
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the tour
There is no photo package to buy afterwards, no “second rider” fee, and no gear rental line — if it’s needed to ride, it’s in the price.
What costs extra — honestly?
One thing: the cable-car ticket, if you choose the cable car to reach the self-drive meeting point at the upper station on Mount Srđ, next to the Panorama restaurant (5–10 minutes up from the Old Town; the city tourist board publishes hours and fares). Arrive by taxi or your own car and even that disappears. The private tours collect you from your accommodation, so the question never comes up.
Run any operator — including us — through the checklist: fuel surcharge? None. Booking fee? None — the list price is the whole price. Seasonal or weekend markup? None. Compulsory gear rental? None. Mandatory tip? Never — tips are welcome and never expected. Damage terms? Ride within the briefing and convoy rules and the machines are our problem, not yours; recklessness outside those rules is the exception, spelled out plainly in our terms.
Price pages invite scepticism, so here is a guest doing the audit for us:
“Cheap for 30 mins and a great experience for everyone. It is easy to drive and the area is beautiful. I would highly recommend”

How does cancellation work?
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before your tour — nothing is paid online when you book, so an email or WhatsApp message with your booking details is all it takes, and the slot is released. Inside 48 hours we ask you to still let us know, because departures are small and the slot is held for you. If anything has been prepaid by arrangement, cancellations 48 hours out or more are refunded in full; inside 48 hours we retain 30%. If we cancel — extreme weather or lightning over the ridge; light rain does not stop tours, and we watch meteo.hr — you choose between a free rebooking and a full refund of anything prepaid. The fine print lives on the cancellation policy page, and it stays short.
Why is self-drive per person and private per vehicle?
Because the costs follow different things. On the self-drive tour the guide leads a convoy and each extra person means a seat, a helmet and a share of a machine — so the price follows people, with the solo rate covering a two-seater used by one. On the private tours the vehicle, the guide and the fuel cost the same whether one guest rides or three — so the price follows the vehicle, and filling the seats is your discount. Our cost guide walks through which format earns its price for which kind of group.
